Polls the same API endpoint Claude Code uses to check your quota. Reads
OAuth tokens directly from macOS Keychain (written by Claude Code on login).
Token refresh is automatic — handles the full OAuth flow in the background.
Historical data is stored locally in SQLite for the sparkline. The sawtooth
pattern is interesting — you can clearly see the 5h window resets.
What I'm working on next: a full analytics window with a three-band
breakdown of your headroom — separating what you actually consumed, what
the weekly limit blocked (not your fault), and what you genuinely left
on the table. Turns out a lot of "wasted" capacity was never really
available to you.
Built the whole thing using the BMAD methodology with Claude Code as
the dev agent. Happy to answer questions about either the app or the process.
