And yet, the powerful minds of Silicon Valley and the investors who fund them are trying to do just that.
This is easier said than done. Ride share drivers have a competitive advantage over driverless --- due to the fact that most are going to pay for their automobile and insurance whether they ride share or not.
All things considered in today's market --- a cheap electric vehicle with some driver assistance would be ideal for ride sharing. Guess who is building these vehicles --- China, not Silicon Valley.
