works fine for me via HN, though I am not surfing the internet without adblock (uBlock Origin), I guess people who browse HN without adblock deserve it...
This person went to the trouble to block visitors that come from HN (via HTTP referrer).
That strikes me as odd. After looking at the article, I don't think we're missing anything.
