From my understanding, newer deepfakes will always outdate current detections, and there will always be some work around for them. This is why I think community reporting system is superior to all automatic ones. It relies on human reasoning, on how likely is that the video is real, when they will be impossible to be distinguished visually and acoustically. I don't know how YouTube will address this, or if they will even address it at all. I know YouTube deleted lots of channels that were generating slops, but I don't think they will do anything for the deepfakes that are about to come. We'll see how problematic will that become for YouTube and how feasible would be for them to implement a solution to that. And it's also probably going to be a premium feature. We'll see. Thanks. I'm not sure how that would work for this format. I would still need a backend server for the community reporting. And also, if YouTube makes some changes to its page structure, then the extension will break. There's probably too much trouble for this detection format as a browser extension. I know that there are some extensions that block the AI upon playing the video, but they cannot block them from appearing in the feed, and also, new deepfakes will outdate their current detections. This is why I think that community reporting is so important, because eventually the videos will become impossible to distinguish visually, and we'll rely more on human reasoning, on how likely is that that video is real, based upon its content. The page also has a faster UI than YouTube's, and an extension on YouTube would probably slow it even more. But I'll keep in mind what you said.
