I was struggling to find lightweight browser for Android TV (they are usually filled with ads, subscriptions, analytics or paid features), so I made my own.
Navigation is done by moving pointer with a remote, it has bookmarks feature, pointer speed configuration and.... that's it, just browse!
Compatibility is Android 9+, unfortunately lower versions can not be submitted to google play. I have Mi 4K laser projector - and it is exactly android 9 (outdated without any patches), so I guess it will help you to browse on your old TVs as well.
I would like to receive your feedback, performance reports and feature requests, as it is the only way to collect them without analytics enabled.
PS: It is probably already running the fastest way it can with hardware acceleration of webview and videos inside.

It is only 4-10 MB (depends on your platform), completely free and even open source: https://github.com/ZonD80/nobstvbrowser
