It's so tempting sometimes to start developing again in PHP, although it's probably been a decade since I've touched it, I genuinely miss the simplicity of it compared to the whole new requirements of modern web stacks.
Php has also become quite sophisticated compared to how it was 10 years ago. You should try it out again.
