My understanding is that since fisker has gone bankrupt twice, that its best to keep the cars close to mechanics who still have tools, because these cars can become instant unmovable paperweights if the parking pawls engage.
I thought this was interesting - honestly I think I'd buy one without hesitation for $13k (only partially inspired by the fact they're installing electric car charging stations in my apartment building's parking lot right now :)
So in 3 years it would start to bring profit. Surely someone at AL ran the numbers but 3 years is a lot for a vehicle in a heavy duty cycle and they would need repairs in that time along with the battery replacements for some units.
