Cal Newport lays out a pretty good criticism of these types of offices in Deep Work.
Absolutely agree.
Right up there with SharePoint as a productivity killer.
If its so great why doesnt management sit at an exposed kiosk to prove collaboration benefits first?
Luckily wfh has defused a lot of open office issues with a home private office.
