AI safety concerns and AI race are real, but not sure why X/media is overreacting.
Probably has something to do with the Alignment Lead at Anthropic agreeing with him, saying there’s a >10% chance that AI kills humanity in the next decade.
Alarmism and attention seeking
I wish I were rich enough off of AI that I could just quit my job and go off into the sunset.
