A few things caught my attention:
- Why the weather tile on first screen ?
- The 1 on 1 meetup probably is from coming of good will, but do you really expect to meet someone you've never met before to go some place with you? For women especially, it sounds shady ngl, but "might" work for men
- Takes time to "trust" people and by the time you trust them enough you'll call them friends
Most apps (timeleft), and events (running groups, activities, etc) nowadays are using the group part to meet people, you should probably investigate that part a bit more

first think that caught my eye are those "download on the appstore" and "Get it on Google Play" buttons LoL. Definitely should be same size.
