I have been working on an open source, just for fun, Steam Deals project that will help you find the best deals during any given Steam Sale. You can run it fully from the desktop app, connect to it through the web app, and sync the web app (including on any mobile device) to the desktop app to get all of the functionality even remotely. Basically all this does is tells you the best deals (for you personally), allows you to see how much money everything is going to cost (including estimated tax) before you put anything into the checkout, and then bulk put your selections into the Steam checkout window for you to buy. It does much more but I don't want to bore you and you can read all about it for yourself on my Github. I am open to any feedback to make this better if anyone finds any bugs or wants any new features. I made this with the help of Claude Code just for fun, because I was wanting it for myself, so I thought I would share. This is not going to be monetized in any way ever, I hope you guys like it!
