No he did not. Whenever some says this, their hypocrisy was caught on display and he does not care that they don’t understand their own code.
What happened was Linus had poor judgement and let the agent introduce a bug that he should have caught in the first place.
Instead, someone else caught the bug for him before it made it to a new release.
At this point, Linus is telling you that he doesn’t care and is allowing is own expertise to atrophy to LLMs.
