Reticulum is a alternative network stack to IP-based networking. It flips quite a bit in terms of topology, enough that most known networking tech has to be re-thought.
LXST is a format and protocol made for real-streaming across Reticiulum networks. It is made by the person who also created Reticulum.
It's very interesting, I've been playing with LoRa radios and planning to take a look at it. It has rather esoteric licensing however. LXST and the sideband chat client are CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 but the main repo looks like a BSD, but with custom clauses:
"""
- The Software shall not be used in any kind of system which includes amongst
its functions the ability to purposefully do harm to human beings.
- The Software shall not be used, directly or indirectly, in the creation of
an artificial intelligence, machine learning or language model training
dataset, including but not limited to any use that contributes to the
training or development of such a model or algorithm.

What is LXST? The search results are not very helpful. Edit: “Lightweight Extensible Signal Transport for Reticulum”
